Wreck

The magic that entices divers to explore shipwrecks and other underwater artefacts has been present since the birth of diving. Luring us in to glance through the submerged windows of the past: ships, airplanes, helicopters, tanks and even cars begin to act as artificial reefs for an array of aquatic life. Whether purpose-sank or lost as the result of an accident; wrecks offer a mysterious edge to your explorations below.

Taught over 2 days and consisting of 4 open water dives, you will learn: safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks, how to surveying and map, use penetration lines to guide exploration and learn techniques to avoid kicking up silt and disturbing the wreck inhabitants. If you’re a PADI Advanced Open Water [or equivalent] and over 15 years old, you can enrol in our Wreck Speciality today!

Sidemount

Learn the many benefits of diving with sidemount configuration along with how to properly assemble and configure sidemount equipment, obtain proper trim so you’re perfectly balanced in the water, understand gas management procedures by switching second stages [as planned prior to dive – if wearing 2-cylinder sidemount] and deal with simulated potential problems; where you will understand the appropriate safety considerations for a sidemount setup.
