During this course you will learn about dive injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations when using oxygen. Putting your knowledge into practice through a series of skills such as: assembling and dissembling emergency o2 equipment, deploying a non-rebreather mask and demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver and using a pocket mask on a nonbreathing diver.
With no diver prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course – it’s open to everyone who would like to develop their ability to recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen and be prepared to offer aid! All you need is one day to become an Emergency o2 Provider!
