Perfectly located from our dive centre; just a short and sweet 10-minute boat ride away are the wrecks of Limassol. The Lady Thetis wreck is an excellent site for Open Water divers wanting their first taste of a shipwreck with a maximum depth of 19m and visibility usually upwards of 10m.
Originally a cruising ship made in Germany the Lady Thetis was sank purposely as an artificial reef in February 2014.
With many penetrable points containing lots of openings and exit holes filled with visible light from the surface, this wreck has something to offer all-level divers. Visit the captains bridge and swim through the engine room to feel the mysterious charm that entices divers to explore shipwrecks!
The Limassol wrecks offer some of the most diverse marine life found in Cyprus as they act as artificial reefs; home to large shoals of bream, groupers, morey eels, amber jacks, peacock worms, cuttlefish and keep your eyes peeled for the fluorescent purple nudibranchs!
Costandis Wreck

The ‘Costandis’ was built in 1989 in USSR and primarily used as a fishing vessel that operated as a bottom trawler. She sank on the 22nd February 2014 in Limassol, as part of an artificial reef project and now lies on the seabed at 23m in depth. Costandis is 23m in length and 9m across with access to penetrate the open engine room, perfect for Wreck Speciality courses and Advanced Open Water divers.
After 5 years, she is now flourishing in marine life and home to our resident grouper ‘George’. Keep your eyes open for moray eels, sea bream, amber jacks, peacock worms, damsel fish and try to spot a turtle amidst the sea grass!
Akrotiri
Akrotiri marine reserve is a beautiful dive site boasting around 25m+ visibility and with a maximum depth of 10m, this is a perfect site for Open Water divers. Along with the crystalline waters and beds of seagrass, Akrotiri offers an array of wrecks; such as a helicopter, fire engine, canon and more!
Just a 45minute boat ride from our Dive Centre where you can relax and enjoy the view of the Limassol coastline and if you’re lucky; spot a pod of dolphins! Sandy bottoms interchanged with sea grass offer the opportunity to spot turtles or see if you can spot a morey eel hiding in the crevices of the fire engine! Local inhabitants include schools of bream and sea bass and the occasional octopus if you have a keen eye!
Sharks Cove
Located on the Akrotiri Peninsula, a 60-minute boat ride from our Dive Centre, Sharks Cove benefits from the crystal-clear visibility famed by Akrotiri, usually upwards of 25m! A great site for Open Water divers with a maximum depth of 12m.
Keep your eyes peeled for sea bream, sea bass and nudibranchs and try to spot the moray eels and octopus hiding in the cracks! The route for Sharks Cove will take you through a submerged tunnel and along the beautiful cliff face and rocky reef, a great way to see the underwater landscape of Cyprus!
Structures
Structures is a dive site located between shipwrecks’ Lady Thetis and Costandis with a maximum depth of 24m. You can discover an abundance of marine life hiding in between the variety of different structures and rock formations: groupers, lion fish and moray eels all like to make Structures their home. Visibility is usually between 10 to 25m with minimal current making it ideal for advanced divers looking to dive something a little different from the wrecks.
Rambo’s Reef
With a maximum depth of 10m, Rambo’s Reef is a great site for Open Water divers looking to put their skills into practice! Featuring an abundance of statues to explore and a winding route meandering through the beds of seagrass offering the opportunity to spot a turtle gliding through the blue!
Jubilee Shoals
Situated in the village of Pissouri, Limassol, Jubilee Shoals boasts the largest natural reef in Cyprus! At 2km long stretching west to east along the Pissouri coastline, this breath-taking site ranges from 17 to 40m in depth, making it the ideal site for the more advanced diver with lots of different areas to discover.
Highlighting features of this unique dive site include the natural Jubilee Arch which displays a variety of beautiful colours, a B2 Canberra Wing which crashed in 1970 and a complex cave system which hosts large caverns to explore, which have been eroded away underwater into the cliff face. A variety of different marine life make this dive site their home; amberjack, moray eels, groupers, crayfish, damsel fish, coloured wrasse and many more species make Jubilee Shoals an interesting site for all certified divers.
